Job Summary

As a driver's assistant, you assist the Delivery Service Representative in completing his/her route in a timely fashion. Heavy lifting is a part of this job along with some minor paperwork duties in transit from location to location. You may have to assist in some installation and breakdown of equipment. Candidates must be open to some late-night shifts

Job Duties

1. Pre-load the items on the truck from warehouse

2. Help the driver on the road

3. Unload items at the customer site

4. Onsite set-up of equipment

5. Some equipment testing on-site may be needed. E.g. Watches functioning properly etc.

6. Pick-up items from the site at the end of the event and drop off at the warehouse

Machines to be used

3 to 5 ton trucks with lift gate

Hand Dollies


Team player

Courteous and congenial

Patient and able to endure time consuming activities

Enjoys road trips

Problem solving aptitude


Responsible to keep trucks tidy and clean

Notify logistics manager in case of any issues with the vehicle

Working Hours

Thursday - Monday: 40 hours a week; rotational shifts available

Shift working

2-3 times a month

Working Conditions

Warehouse, on the road, may need to travel to remote locations

Ability to lift 50lbs

May have long periods of driving, sitting

Dress Code

Dark Jeans, khaki’s, or work pants are allowed till the time they are not torn or in bad condition; Unacceptable pants are: faded jeans, sweatpants, jogging pants. Closed toe shoes only. Company shirts and jackets are provided as uniform

Additional Notes

Late evening or night shifts or overtime shifts is a reality in this role, especially during peak season - Employees will be compensated accordingly
