Who we are…        

LONSDALE Event Rentals has provided event rentals and reliable delivery services for more than 45 years throughout Metro Vancouver.

We are one of the largest and most capable event rental companies in Western Canada. We have two locations to serve you, one in North Vancouver and the other in Burnaby, more locations are planned for opening in the near future. Our head office and main distribution center is located in Burnaby in a modern 50,000 square foot facility. LONSDALE primarily focuses on serving Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley.

We are reliable and provide high service levels to event organizers – be it a Caterer, Designer, Event Planner, Bride, Party Host or Venue. We make your rental experience easy, flexable and enjoyable.

HISTORY

Lonsdale Rentals began in 1972 with a 1,200 square foot store on Lonsdale Avenue (hence the name) in North Vancouver, BC. This rental store focused on Tool Equipment Rentals, tables, chairs and general home products. From day one the company instilled strong values of friendly service, dependability and quality products.

In the late 70's the company began expanding into other product lines including linens, glassware, dish and table wares. These new party items quickly became more and more popular as people began to become aware of the ease of renting for special events. In the mid 80's Lonsdale separated the company into two divisions: Party Rentals and Tool Rentals.

In 2000, Lonsdale Event Rentals became its own dedicated force focused on better serving the specialized needs of its Special Event Customers in and around the North Shore and Vancouver. In that year, the business relocated from a 6000 sq ft location to a 12,000 sq ft location. The expansion and desire to become Canada's leading Event Rental Leader continues today. Currently, the business provides customers with two locations in North Vancouver and Burnaby and utilizes a central modern 50,000sq ft operations facility in Burnaby BC. With a full team of over 50 Associates and a delviery fleet that services all of Metro Vancouver / Fraser Valley; we're committed to providing our customers with a reliable, high service experience. Annually, we proudly are involved with over 14,000 events every year.
