How It Works
Once you have selected your items and confirmed your order, the next step is to arrange for all your items to arrive at your event.
For your convenience, and flexibility, our rates are one-way rates; in case your delivery and pickup needs differ from each other.
Standard Delivery Service
Standard service includes drop off to and pickup from one specific pre-designated area at the address provided, near the trucks parked location. Up to twelve (12) exterior stairs or one (1) exterior flight at no extra fees. Details regarding elevators, added labour and setup or takedown options must be arranged in advance and rates are listed below.
Preparing Your Order for Collection
Please have all rentals taken down, stacked, and placed back in the crates and containers you received them in. If the items are not put back in the correct transport containers, this may result in breakage or other damage. Please note that if our drivers determine the items not safe for transport, added onsite labour fees may be charged to repack the rentals. Sometimes our drivers can’t see this right away, so may proceed with collection. In this case, items returned in the incorrect crates, and therefore damaged in transport, will be added to your final receipt.
Sunday, Late Night & After Hours Pick Ups
Our regular delivery hours are Monday through Saturday 8am-5pm, but we know this doesn’t work for every event. As such, we have brought back our after hours and late night services on a limited basis. Please speak with your Lonsdale Rep for more information and to discuss fees and confirmation requirements.
Free Delivery - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
- One Way service must take place on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to qualify (excludes Tuesdays following a stat holiday)
- Service offered within Zone 1 Cities (North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Vancouver - excludes UBC)
- 8am-5pm service window required
- Minimum $250 in rentals to qualify
- Free delivery can only apply up to two times per order
- Discount will be applied at confirmation, if all conditions are met.

Delivery Zones & One-Way Rates
When will additional charges apply?
Additional labour fees will be charged for orders with extreme distance from parked truck, elevators, orders not properly packed for pick up, wait times to access site or other conditions that require additional time. Onsite labour/wait fees will apply as well as the per unit labour cost per service required.
We charge a small fee when elevators are involved to get to the drop off or pickup destination as elevators are often shared with the public and require added onsite time that cannot be estimated in advance. These conditions must be communicated at time of booking so our team can provide the most accurate pricing. Failure to communicate delivery and pickup instructions will result in onsite fees in addition to the per unit base rate below.
If our team is unable to access the drop off or pickup location within your scheduled service window, as pre-arranged could result in a missed delivery or pickup and will need to be rescheduled as available by our team. A second delivery or pickup fee, as well as a same day service request fee (if applicable), will be charged based on the newly discussed day and time.
