Common Questions & Specs
A convection oven cooks by circulating heated air using a high temperature fan. Food warms faster in a convection oven since the moving air strips away the thin layer of air which otherwise would surround and insulate the food. With a convection oven there is about a 25 to 30% reduction in cooking temperature and a reduction in cooking time, compared to a conventional oven.

Operating Instructions – propane unit
Operating instructions:
- Connect hose to propane tank ensuring a TIGHT connection with the regulator facing up.
- Plug oven into a standard 120V electrical outlet.
- Turn the BLACK Gas button ON
- Turn the RED Cool down button to AUTO. (Oven will not light if this button is on MANUAL) and set thermostat to desired cooking temperature.
- Turn BLUE Blower switch to ON. The oven will now try to ignite. When the RED LIGHT turns on, the oven is lit and is heating up to desired temperature.
- To turn oven off, turn the BLUE Blower switch to the OFF position.
Please Note: If oven doesn’t light, turn the BLUE BLOWER OFF and ON; and the BLACK GAS OFF and ON. It may take a few tries the first time as the gas has a long distance to travel to the ignition zone. Repeat until it lights. IT WILL EVENTUALLY START on its own.
